Actor Shreyas Talpade has dropped the teaser of his upcoming socio-political drama The India Story, offering audiences a hard-hitting glimpse into a disturbing issue centered around food adulteration and public health concerns. The teaser has already begun sparking conversations online for its intense tone and unsettling visuals.
Sharing the teaser on social media, Shreyas Talpade captioned it, “The numbers are public. The consequences are visible. Then why does the truth still feel hidden? Witness the truth unfold in #TheIndiaStory, Slow Poison In Progress… releasing in cinemas on 24th July 2026.” He also confirmed that the film will release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
The 86-second teaser presents a grim and thought-provoking narrative, using powerful imagery of hospitals, emergency wards, and graveyards to underline the severity of the issue. It also flashes alarming statistics such as “50,000+ cancer cases,” “1 in 3 families impacted,” and “82,1702+ affected,” framing the crisis as a silent but widespread public health disaster.
Starring Kajal Aggarwal alongside Shreyas Talpade, The India Story aims to shed light on the growing concerns around food adulteration, pesticide contamination, and industrial negligence.
